So I'm reading
The Celestine Prophecy right now, and I gotta say, even though I'm for the most part open to the ideas expressed in the book, it hasn't been what I thought it would be. Parts of it just seem outright silly and unbelievable. I had figured it would be much better than it is so far. I mean, yea, it's a good story, the whole adventure ordeal, and it's certain incorporated some interesting messages that most novels don't have, but I just figured it would be more than it is.
I also just read a book called
Ishmael, which I had never heard of before, and sure, it's got some silly and unbelievable back story, but I have to say, so far that one is much more intellectual and a better read this Celestine so far.
