Interestingly enough, after that description of me, it might be hard to believe that I make my living in the tech field. So I guess you could say I am a computer geek as well.
I am fascinated by new places, cultures, and learning about life in other parts of the world. This fascination has revived my passion for travel, although since I am working full time I don't get to do enough of it. But in the coming years I hope to travel to many places, outside of the United States to see what the world has to offer, both good and bad. Until then, I've started a travel website, Worlds Revealed, to keep my travel dreams at bay. And although I'm not very political, lately with my evolving beliefs and ideals, I've become more interested in both politics (not interested in politics so much, but rather the role they place in changing things) and current events. I guess it's fair to say I'm pretty liberal when it comes to social issues.Oh and by the way, if anyone visiting this site has any connections for a new job opportunity, feel free to email me. I like what I do, but I'd like to be able to find a better match for my computer skills, something combined with something I'm passionate about, and maybe some flex hours, and more vacation time... Maybe working for a "make a difference in the world" company, or a politcal or travel or knowledge based website, basically something more dynamic than cubeville... Ah, well, I digress. (UPDATE: 1/29/06, I have a new job, much better than the last, but still interested in opportunities)
